Return Policy

At Grown Diamonds (MMDIA Pty Ltd), we have an introductory offer of a 60 day money back guarantee and 90 day full exchange on all loose diamonds. This offer is for all diamonds purchased on or before 31/10/19. From the 1/11/19 onwards, the return policy will be changed to a 30 day money back guarantee and 45 day full exchange on all loose diamonds. We do this to provide you with a truly risk-free purchase experience. If you need to return a stone for a any reason, simply return it within the time frame for a full refund or exchange. For the refund or exchange to be processed, the stones must be the same stone that you received, in perfect condition (no chips or scratches or any damage), and with the original certificates that were given to you. Once the stone has been checked, we will process the refund within 24-48 hours of receiving the stone. Please post it back to us securely as the return shipping is at your cost and risk. We recommend a courier or Platinum Express Post so it can be tracked online.

The refund and exchange policy is calculated from the day the goods are invoiced, however MMDIA Pty Ltd has the dicretion to extend the period in certain circumstances (such as taking into account the shipping time for you to receive the goods)


How To Return An Order

You must contact us via email or phone to let us know that you are returning or exchanging a stone. We require confirmation in writing so emails are always preferred. Please include your invoice number and which stone/s from that invoice that you will be returning or exchanging. Once you have received a return email approving the time frame for the refund or exchange please follow these steps:

Packing your order:

  • For all returns and exchanges, include a copy of the invoice and circle which diamond/s from that invoice that you are returning/exchanging. All original diamond certificates must be included (a $250 replacement fee per certificate will be charged otherwise). Please pack the item well so that there is no damage caused to the diamond/s or certificate/s.

  • For security reasons, do not write jewellery, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package. Please address the package to:

Shipment and Insurance:

  • For your protection, we recommend you ship the item via a courier or Platinum Express Post where a signature is required and is trackable online. We do not insure the return so please make sure you have insurance in place in case of any item not arriving.

  • MMDIA Pty Ltd is not responsible for items being returned that are lost or damaged while in transit.

Refund Process

Once we receive the returned diamond, we will inspect and verify the condition of the item(s). Refunds take between 24-48 hours.

Any diamond that is not the same as the original, or has any damage will not be eligible for a refund.

MMDIA Pty Ltd will refund the original purchase amount of the item using the same type of payment used in the original purchase.

Any loss of the diamond certificate will incur a $250 charge, to be taken off the amount due to be refunded. This is due to the fact that the stone will need to be sent back overseas to the diamond laboratory and will incur shipping and insurance costs as well as the cost of the new certificate. It also incurs a return shipping and insurance cost from the diamond laboratory to our office. The $250 charge is to be taken off the amount due to be refunded.
